Booking Terms & Conditions (Rooms)

AVAILABILITY

All rooms and rates are subject to availability and the discretion of management. When an enquiry is made the rooms are not held nor reserved until a full booking is made with payment/deposit taken.

BOOKINGS

You must be over 18 years of age to book a room whether via our website or a third party.

When you make a booking on behalf of other people you are also confirming that you are authorised to do so and acknowledge that all members of your party agree to these terms and conditions. You are also agreeing that you will be personally responsible for all financial obligations as a result of your use of this Site or a booking by any other means on behalf of others.

Any reservation made on a Friday or Saturday is subject to a two night minimum stay.

Check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 11am.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Our housekeeping team will always make every effort to ensure that rooms are ready by 4.00pm. Rooms must not be departed any later than 11am, we remain the right to charge for any check-outs after 11.00am unless agreed otherwise with the Duty Manager.

PRICES

All prices are inclusive of VAT. Prices may alter to reflect changes to VAT and taxes.

PAYMENT

At the time of booking or at check-in, we will take your credit/debit card details and authorise the use of your card for any charges made during your stay. We will also charge 50% of your booking total to your card. No booking will be treated as confirmed until we have your 50% deposit paid. We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as cash.

Upon check out all outstanding charges must be paid for in full.
Please note: The card that is booked with, will be charged with the final bill unless specified otherwise at check out.

CANCELLATIONS AND NON-ARRIVALS POLICY

Advance rate bookings require full payment upon booking and arecompletely non-refundable.

Flexible rate bookings require a 50% deposit upon booking and can be cancelled up to 14 days before check in with the deposit refunded within 21 days. Payment for the remainder of the reservation will be taken upon arrival, any cancellation after this date will be non-refundable in all cases.

Any stays shortened or departing earlier than originally booked for will be chargeable.

Please note we cannot be liable for bad weather or other conditions leading to you being unable to stay on your booking date. We advise all customers to take out travel insurance to cover these instances.

PARKING

There is free on-street parking available in front of and directly opposite the hotel. However we cannot guarantee a space.
Please note: Cars and their contents are left at the owners own risk.

SMOKING

The Albion Rooms is a non-smoking establishment and does not permit smoking in any indoor areas of the hotel (including guest bedrooms and corridors) and smoke detectors are fitted throughout. Any evidence of smoking in e.g. guest bedrooms such as, activation of the smoke alarm and evident cigarette odours, will require the room to be deep cleaned and fumigated at the occupant’s expense. There is an outside smoking area at the rear of the property. All cigarette waste must be put into the bin/s provided.

PETS

We accept one small and/or very well behaved dog one of our rooms. There is a £20 charge per stay. This must be specified at the time of booking to ensure you are booking our pet-friendly room. Please call in advance of making your reservation. Any damage is chargeable.

EXTRA BEDS

One extra bed can be provided in some of our suites, charged at £50.00 per night. We can provide cots for children up to two years of age in certain rooms with our compliments. These need to be requested in advance to ensure availability.

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES

Housekeeping staff will service every guest room daily between the hours of 10.00-16.00, seven days a week. It is hotel policy that every guest room is accessed by Hotel employee for housekeeping purposes on a daily basis. ‘Do not disturb’ signs are available to display on your room door, should you not wish to use this service.

DAMAGE & MISSING ITEMS

We reserve the right and you by booking with us you authorise us to charge your credit/debit card for any damages incurred to your room or the property during your stay or for any items that are missing when you leave. This includes damage or staining to any of our linen or soft furnishings. You will find a list of charges for room items in the guest information book placed in your room.

CONDUCT

We reserve the right to judge acceptable levels of noise and suitable behaviour of guests. If no reasonable action is taken by the guest and we feel the need to protect our other guests and neighbours from undue disturbance, The Albion Rooms may terminate the booking without being liable for a refund or compensation.

When you check in at reception you will be asked to sign your agreement to all of the above terms and conditions.
